Upbuild Coaching Bits: Ego

The ego is the identity of who we think we should be. It is a prison because it traps us by convincing us that we need to do whatever it takes to defend and prove this identity. It prevents us from being able to experience who we actually are. To remove layers of ego, we first need to become aware of its existence.

Coaching application: How did your ego encourage you to become a coach in the first place? How is your ego still impacting your coaching today?

Life application: Write ten responses to the question, how do you like to be perceived by the world? How is your attachment to these identities preventing you from being the best version of yourself?
