Commitment to roles. In the filming of 'Apocalypse Now,' Sheen endured grueling conditions in the Philippines and even suffered a serious heart attack during production. Instead of dropping out, he returned to the set six weeks later and went on to complete his role in the now-iconic film.
Accomplished career. Sheen’s desire to succeed and strong work ethic has led him to have a successful acting career spanning over five decades, with numerous awards and nominations under his belt. He has received Golden Globe Awards, Emmy Award nominations, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
