Why we think Greta Thunberg is a Type 1

  • Demeanor. She shows up as determined, passionate, and steadfast. She speaks in a clear, articulate manner with great conviction as if she is teaching.

  • Unwavering commitment in dedicating her life to a cause. Greta's dedication to fighting climate change stems from her deep-rooted belief in the importance of preserving the environment for future generations. This unwavering commitment to her cause is consistent with the Type 1's strong sense of right and wrong.

  • Critiquing those in power. Greta has been unafraid to call out world leaders and institutions for their inaction on climate change. Her speeches, such as the one at the United Nations Climate Action Summit in 2019, showcase her commitment to holding powerful figures accountable. 

  • Perseverance. Greta has faced significant challenges and criticisms in her activism, but she continues to stand her ground and advocate for change.

  • Purpose-driven. Greta's activism is fueled by her mission to create a better world by addressing climate change. She has consistently emphasized the need for systemic changes and policy reforms to address the crisis.
