Why we think Kesha is a Type 4

  • Unique and authentic self-expression. Kesha's music and personal style are both highly distinctive. From her debut, she has been known for her unique blend of pop, dance, and electronic music, and her often irreverent, flamboyant, and glitter-covered style. Her willingness to stand out and be herself aligns with the Type 4's desire for individuality and authenticity.

  • Glorification of individuality. In her music, Kesha often emphasizes themes of embracing one's uniqueness and not conforming to societal expectations. She has a famous song called, "We R Who We R."

  • A desire to inspire people to be themselves. In interviews and in her songs, Kesha often speaks about wanting to be a role model to help give people permission to be their true selves.
