The Call to Awaken has invited us to explore the Bhagavad-Gita as a source of an entirely new paradigm for understanding ourselves and the world, and as a guide for how to live our everyday lives.

Together, we have explored questions of identity, karma, the mind, faith, the soul, God, and devotion. As we approach the completion of the course, we invite you to an immersive retreat where we can gather around these teachings, gain further insight by additional instruction, and apply what we’ve learned through practices designed to open the heart and give us a lived experience.

The teachings of the Gita become personally meaningful when we wrestle with them honestly, apply them in our lives, and reflect on our experiences with other sincere practitioners. In-person sanga offers something that cannot be fully recreated in any other way. It gives us a profound opportunity to deepen our relationship with the teachings and with one another.

We will gather in the Hudson Valley for three nights, from Thursday evening through Sunday midday. Our time together will include guided discussions, personal reflection, spiritual practices, prasada (spiritual food), and unstructured time together. The retreat will be a continuation and deepening of the journey we have already begun.

In summary, this retreat is for those who want to remember and build on what they have learned, embody it with greater clarity, determination, and faith, and do so in the company of fellow travelers who have shared this journey.

Space is very limited. The deadline to register is December 15th, but we expect the spots to fill up before then, so please register ASAP.
